Biography

Lucy G'ala earned her BArch in Architecture & Urban Planning from Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña, followed by postgraduate studies in Structural Design, Vernacular Architecture, Business Development, and Sustainable Architecture.

She apprenticed in studios across the Dominican Republic and Europe — immersing herself in the work of Calatrava, Corbusier, and Jean Nouvel — before crossing the Atlantic to New York, where she joined Sanba International Inc. as Vice-President of Design & Development. In 2000, she became the youngest woman developer in New York.

Her expertise spans architecture, interiors, urban planning, construction, and land development — always guided by a commitment to sustainability and community. She founded most design in New York in 2003, then Clean Earth Design in Toronto in 2006.
